At noon on Tuesday May 10, Sakura Choir, a Japanese choral group founded by researchers at Yale Med School, is going to sing traditional Japanese songs in Marigold Cafeteria to pray for the victims of Earthquake and Tsunami.

At the same location, there will be an exhibition of photographs taken by a doctor who volunteered in Minami Sanriku-Cho in Miyagi prefecture, an area particularly hard-hit by the devastating Tsunami of 3/11.

Please join us for origami crane making on the same day. Our origami crane will be sent to “the Million Crane Project”, which has been continuing nation wide among students living in the US. 100% of your donations will be sent to Mercy Corps

Photo exhibition and origami crane making will start at 11:00 am and continue until 1:45pm. Chorus will begin at 12:00.
